180 Remediation Inc. was founded on the idea that farming is the best way to make a living, raise families and build thriving communities. Dedicated to the production of nutritious grains, in our own farming days we were equally dedicated to taking our breaks at the lake, swimming, skiing, wakeboarding and fishing as much as possible.  When we started to notice the lake becoming cloudy and filling with algae, the quest was on to resolve the issue through our farming practice.
Â
With 18 years of field experience alongside producers in every soil region, we have adapted soil management practices in a specific order based on soil condition. The producers have worked out many alternative techniques and timing, to suit every operation no matter the scale. For this collaboration, we are grateful.
Â
It is our hope that by sharing the combined experience of many producers over many years, we can reach mass surface area of agricultural soil, no matter the owner, no matter the operator, and find the way to add resilience and productivity, naturally.
Â
Learning to work with nature's invisible characters in the soil, we have witnessed the competitive exclusion of resistant disease pathogens, without chemicals. The resulting crops have been abundant and higher in nutrient density than we hoped.Â

Beginning with the lowest performing acres in each new operation we take on, the farmer sees first hand what is working, often seeing the results from the first season. As soil structure is remedied, and beneficial microbes are reintroduced on the seed, or with fertilizer, we see a decline in the need for fungicides and pesticides. In time, as the fertilizer rates decrease and beneficial biology continues to build stable soil carbon, all things work together for the farmer for a change. Â
Â
Whoever said that growing crops with natural soil function and fertility would mean reductions in yield has clearly not seen our market garden clients. We humbly apologize for all the extra work you have had to do in repeated cycles of picking, cleaning, packing and processing. We are happy to share the joy of good produce and profitability!
